Jacob Maentel(American, 1763-1863) - Watercolor on paper profile portrait, inscribed "Great Grand Father Pyle", depicting a gentleman standing in a landscape with hills and trees in the background, the man wearing a blue waist coat, striped shirt, tan breeches, and boots, holding a top hat in his hand, 10" x 7 1/2", retaining original carved pine frame with black painted surface(creases).
