The Royal Geographical Society World Clock Arthur Imhof, La Chaux-de-Fonds, “The Royal Geographical Society World Clock”. Made in a limited edition in 1981. Fine and unusual brass and ebonised wood terrestrial globe table clock with cercle tournant dial. Accompanied by the certificate of authenticity and booklet. To be sold without reserve Brushed brass framework with four hexagonal pillars, black painted globe with the continents and countries in gold, brushed brass drum case for the movement, winding crown at the back, square ebonised plinth. Brushed silver annular chapter ring with Roman numerals, Arabic quarter-hour numerals and minute track, brass pointer. 15 jewels, mechanical. Signed on a brass plaque on the base. Dim. 28 x 22.5 x 22 cm.
