Fine, gold-filled, keyless digital jumpinghour pocket watch with retrograde fly-back minute hand. To be sold without reserve Four-body, “demi-bassine”, back cover engine-turned and with vacant cartouche. Hinged metal cuvette engraved in the Art Nouveau style. Matte silver, the upper half with retrograde Arabic minute sector, aperture for the jump hours below 12 o’clock, subsidiary seconds. Notes The mechanism is based on a Swiss patent No. 27838, issued to Gabriel Lopez Mantaras of Saragosse, and registered on May 5, 1903. Modernista, registered in 1903, was Courvoisier Frères' trademark for marketing Mantaras system watches.
