After Auguste Moreau (French,1861-1906), Pair of patinated bronze full length figural sculptures of peasants at work ("Laboureur" & "Semeuse") comprising of "Laboureur" depicting a shirtless man with canteen resting on hip, leaning against handled tool with agricultural tool or machine at back; and "Semeuse (Sower)" depicting a young woman in hat and long draped dress with cross body bag throwing seed. Both figures standing on naturalistic bases above socle base further raised on marble plinth. "Semeuse" overall approximate height 18.75". "Laboureur" overall approximate height 18.5".
