Two-body, Louis XVI, the back finely painted on enamel depicting a young man and lady in a landscape, blue and gold paillon frame with gold paillon borders, the bezels with chased laurel leaf pattern. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic five-minute numerals. Gold beetle and poker hands. 35 mm., hinged, gilt brass full plate with hexagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, plain brass three-arm balance, continental cock with polished endplate, silvered regulation dial. Signed on dial and movement. Diam. 45 mm.
