IVORY POCKET WATCH & IVORY CHAIN CARVED FROM A SINGLE PIECE Swiss. Made circa 1860. Fine and unusual, turned ivory pocket watch with integral ivory chain carved from a single piece of ivory. Two-body, turned ivory, turned pendant and carved bow, hinged back with hinged steel catch. Ivory cuvette. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with red Arabic fi ve-minute numerals. Fancy gilt hands. 17’’’, matte gilt, bar caliber, jewelled cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 48 mm.
