Chinese, 20th century, possibly earlier. Pair of Rose Medallion fish bowls or jardiniere planters on stands, the bowls with reserves depicting courtly interior scenes and arrangements of flowers surrounded by clusters of blooms, butterflies, meander scroll, koi or goldfish, the insides decorated with goldfish or koi and aquatic flora on white ground. Presented on custom wood stands. Apparently unmarked. Height on stand 27", diameter of mouth 18.5".
