Made in a limited edition of 750 examples in 2007 for the America’s Cup 2007 “BMW Oracle Racing” sailing team. Very fine and rare, oversized, world time, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with square button chronograph, registers, date and a stainless steel Girard- Perregaux double deployant clasp. Accompanied by the original fitted box, guarantee, certificate and booklet. Three-body, brushed and polished, case back with 6 screws engraved with the USA-76 racing boat, rounded bezel, concave lugs, screwed-down winding crown at 9 to move the city disc, at 3 for time setting and adjusting the night/day function, sapphire crystal. Black with painted luminous baton indexes and luminous Arabic 12, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer blue and white revolving ring with painted Arabic 24 hour numerals, outermost revolving disc bearing names of 24 locations, inner minute track, aperture for the date between 1 & 2. Luminous white arrow and lozenge hands. Cal. GP033C0, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes and oeil-deperdrix decoration, 63 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, hack mechanism.
