Fine and rare, green marble and gilt brass Empire-style 8-day going mantel clock. Rectangular green marble and gilt brass with 5 gilt brass bow decoration, fluted bezel, hinged brass handle. Engine turned brass with radial black Roman numerals on a plain reserve, concentric minute track. Black fancy hands. Cal. 244, nickel finished, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Notes Dial signed Bucherer, dial and movement signed IMOF.
