Guyot & Cie, "Rolls Royce". Produced in the 1970's.Fine, asymmetrical 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch in the shape of a "Rolls Royce" radiator grill, with concealed dial. Accompanied by an 18K yellow gold woven bracelet. two-body, shaped, solid, polished, case back with screws, open-work cover over the dial, "Vendôme" type lug at 6 and the "Rolls Royce" logo at 12. black with tritium-coated indexes. "Bâton" white gold hands. Notes This watch is similar to the Corum model produced in the 1970's. In 1975, Corum conceived the idea to create a watch in the shape of a Rolls Royce radiator grill, bearing as well, the famous radiator tap, the mascot "Spirit of Ectasy". A request for a patent was presented the same year by Corum to the English car manufacturer. The patent was granted to Corum in 1976 and the first watch was presented for the first time to public in June, in the premises of the famous jeweler Garrard in London. ThCorum model has always been produced in limited editions, and since 1990, only 60 examples have been produced yearly
