Le Locle, engraving by Huguenin, circa 1900. Unusual silver, gold and niello hunting-cased keyless watch with Erotic automaton. four-body, "bassine", both covers engraved with ladies playing musical instruments, floral and foliate borders, front with applied gold flowers, whole in niello, silver hinged cuvette which opened reveals an automated scene activated by a slide on the band. white enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued "Spade" steel hands. Notes Huguenin Freres were one of the most prominent case decorators in the Neuchatel area.
