Samuel Sly Mahogany Teardrop-form Act of Parliament Clock, Norwich, England, c. 1815, removable hood section with turned wooden bezel over the 16-in. painted iron Roman numeral dial signed Sam. Sly/Norwich , teardrop-shaped lower section with banded and line inlay, brass eight-day, time-only, weight-powered movement, round iron pendulum rod, brass-faced bob and lead weight, ht. 48 in. Lower case has veneer piece off but with the clock. Some in painting on dial. Clock is complete but may need cleaning and lubrication.
