French Skeleton Clock by Bolviller, Paris, c. 1850, "A" frame plates support the eight-day, spring-powered, time-only movement, silk thread suspension, 2-in. enameled chapter ring with open center marked Bolviller , A Paris , blued steel hands, engraved brass alarm wheel, the wooden base supports the movement and houses a pull-wind alarm mechanism and bell on the underside, all under a glass dome. Glass dome has repaire to rear 4 1/2 in. long, 1 1/2 in. high.
