Bronze with dark brown patina, 5 3/4 x 5 7/8 x 5 1/2 in. (14.6 x 14.9 x 14.0 cm). Condition: Surface grime. Provenance: Acquired by Clark University English Professor Dr. Loring Holmes Dodd (American, 1879-1968); gift to his godson, c. 1968; private New England collection by family descent. N.B. This title was originally modeled in 1921, and cast c. 1922-1928. No additional condition issues to report.
