Two Brown Iron Glazed Jugs, Continental, one a Frechen-type bulbous stoneware Bartmann -form jug with worn Bartmask and roundels, strap handle, and glaze drips near the bottom, ht. 11 1/2; the other with pewter lid with touchmarks to interior and filet-ball thumblift, redware body with applied central medallion of Lady Justice surrounded by masks and flowerheads, and strap handle, ht. 15 1/2 in. The Bartmann jug with age typical surface wear, no major chips or cracks, and no repairs. The jug with pewter lid with extensive, crude repair to neck and lady justice's sheild. Scattered loss to glaze and brown re-paint to cover chips and loss. Body with allover surface scratches and abrasions.
