Large Doulton Lambeth Salt-glaze Stoneware Baluster Vase, dated 1885, by Hannah Barlow and three unidentified artists and assistants, numbered 330, high shouldered body decorated with scrolling brown leaves on a blue ground, the central section decorated with a continuous scene of horses and a wolf or hound in a landscape, circular foot inscribed Walter Gilbey, ht. 13 1/2 in. Glaze roughness surrounding footrim, otherwise in very good condition throughout.
