Three Woven Cane and Splint Nantucket Baskets, America, early 20th century, two round and one oval basket with carved swing handles, (losses), ht. to top of rims 7 1/8, 5 1/4, 4 3/8, dia. 12 5/8, 11 1/4, 9 3/8 in., respectively. the largest with five losses to the weavers in an area on the side; smaller round basket with 4 in. area of rim lashing losses, the oval basket with three small areas of losses on the cane weavers and 3 in. of losses on the lashing.
