Pair of George III Giltwood Mirrors, c. 1760, each cresting carved with a hoho bird, the borders and pendant elaborately carved with leafy vines, C-scrolls and cabochons, ht. 55 1/2 in. Both mirror plates old, some minor touchups throughout and with slight losses exposing small areas of gesso and additional age typical minor defects.
