Two Wedgwood Enameled Black Basalt Items, England, 19th century, each with a banded border with enameled florets and beads trimmed in gold, consisting of a cream jug, ht. 3 3/4 in.; and a sugar bowl with a cover, ht. 3 1/2 in.; impressed marks. Both are in good condition, however the cover to the sugar bowl is actually the cover to the teapot of the same service and has been adapted to fit the bowl.
