Isabel Bishop (American, 1902-1988) Two Figure Studies: Nude and Seated Man Signed "Isabel Bishop" l. r. and l.l. respectively, Nude titled and dated "... 1950 on the reverse, Man titled, signed, and inscribed "...-'A' by I/ Bishop...c. 1932" on the reverse. Ink on paper/board, sight sizes to 6 1/8 x 4 3/8 in. (15.5 x 11.1 cm), framed. Condition: Scattered staining, not examined out of frames. Nude inscribed "circa 1940" l.r., small stain u.r. approx. 1/4 x 1/4 in., scotch tape residue l.r. along right margin, skinning to u.r. corner; Man with trimmed top, left, and bottom edges, deckled right edge, cloth tape hinges.
