After Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917) Avant la course, 1910. Signed in the matrix. Color lithograph on paper, sight size 18 3/4 x 22 in. (47.5 x 55.7 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, rippling, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Estate of Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (née Braman) Grasso, Essex, Connecticut. Out of the frame the sheet measures 20 1/4 x 23 inches with narrow margins to all but the lower edge. There is a 1/2 inch tear to the lower edge. This does not effect the image. The sheet has very visible toning and mat burn. The registration of the stones may be just slightly imperfect.
