Wedgwood Hand-painted Queen's Ware Mermaid Vase, England, c. 1875, modeled by Hugues Protat, the round flat-sided vase flanked with mermaid handles and decorated with children to one side and flowers and butterfly to the reverse, attributed to Pepin, ht. 12 1/2 in. Literature: Wedgwood II , by Robin Reilly, plate C41. Light glaze wear surrounding top and footrim. No cracks, chips or restorations.
