Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848-1933), early 20th century. A Tiffany Studios gold favrile glass floriform vase with rounded octagonal pedestal base surmounted by tapering and slightly twisting floriform body with planar sides, with scalloped round rim above incurvate collar. Marked to underside "456-D L.C.Tiffany Favrile". Approximate height 9.5", 3.875" diameter of foot. Provenance: Acquired from Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, Chicago, Illinois, May 6, 2009 "Furniture and Decorative Arts" auction, lot 992, whereby sold and acquired by the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
