19th century. Pine armoire or storage cabinet with two hinged doors above to open to two shelves within (one with rectangular painted wood plinth) and two smaller hinged doors below to open to storage below. Overall hand painted in green and red with yellow floral and leaf decoration on front panels. Top and edging with faux marble painted finish. WIth two keys for locking cabinet. Three circular holes cut from back, probably to accomodates electrical cords. Height 82 inches, width 40.5 inches, depth 23.25 inches. Provenance: From the collection of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B. Patton, Atlanta, Georgia.
