the first example an American sword walking stick, early 20th century, having a leaf shaped handle capped by a brass medallion, the foil blade stamped with a brass collar on the twig shaft, ending in a brass ferrule; the second Japanese, having six panels of snakeskin wrapped at the top and bottom with gold-filled wire on a zebrano wood shaft, ending in a brass and steel tip. Length of first overall 37 inches.
