Fine and elegant, miniature, keyless, 8 day-going silver carriage clock. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Gilt "Louis XVI" hands. Frosted silvered brass, rectangular plates, four pillars, barrel for the going train, lateral lever escapement on a frosted gilt platform, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case signed by Mappin Brothers, movement punched JTC. Dim. Height 7.2 cm., width 4.5 cm.
