Clerke, 1 Royal Exchange, London, No. 6543, London Hallmarks for 1888. Fine 18 ct. gold hunting cased, keyless watch with 30 minute instantaneous recorder. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished. Gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Gold "spade" hands. 18-, frosted and gilt, three quarter plate, 15 jewels in screwed settings, with going barrel, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with diamond endstone, free sprung balance spring with terminal curve. Chronograph with push piece in the band. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 52mm.
