Mahantongo Valley, Pennsylvania painted pine chest of drawers, ca. 1835 , the vibrant salmon and red top with blue front and red stamped flower heads, above a case with red and yellow stepped molding and 4 graduated drawers with yellow painted molded edge and original glass pulls, the front of the case with stamped yellow and red flower heads on blue ground, the paneled ends with similar surround enclosing rectangular panels with yellow flower heads, all supported by tall turned feet, 49" h., 39" w.(top lacking returns).
