John Travers, London, made for the Dutch market circa 1770. Fine silver pair cased watch with date. Case repousse by Mauris. Outer double body, the back repousse with a mythological scene, outer and bezel with foliage and floral decoration. Inner bassine polished. Silver champleve with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring with arch divisions. Blued steel hands. GiIt brass full plate with baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain gilt brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass Dutch style cock. Signed on the dial and back plate. Outer case signed: "Mauris fecit". In good condition. Diam. 54 mm. Notes Interessante orologio da tasca, con data,doppia cassa sbalzata, in argento, firmata Maurice Fecit.
