Francis Sydney Muschamp (British, 1851-1929) Tête-à-Tête Signed "F. Sydney Muschamp" l.l. Oil on canvas mounted to panel, 17 3/4 x 13 1/2 in. (45.1 x 34.3 cm), framed. Condition: Retouch, craquelure. Craquelure to u.l. quadrant in area of red curtain; retouch to all quadrants with largest area to wood paneling in u.l. quadrant measuring approx. 1 x 1/2 in., also retouch to wood paneling in l.l. quadrant along frame liner, to area above and below man's left foot, and to some parts of window tracery in u.r. quadrant.
