Robert Anning Bell (British, 1863-1933) The Ladies-in-Waiting Signed and dated "R. A. Bell 1905" l.r. Watercolor on O.W. Paper & Arts Co. pasteboard, 9 3/4 x 15 1/8 in. (24.8 x 38.4 cm), unframed. Condition: Loss to u.r. corner, trimmed bottom edge, subtle bowing. Wear to edges and corners. u.l. corner dog-eared. Loss to u.r. corner. Irregular lower edge with loss l.c. Small 1/4 in. tear left edge. Bowing to the support of about 1/8 inch, but the pasteboard flattens easily under the lightest pressure.
