Pair of Continental Baroque-style Carved and Polychrome-painted Angel Wall Plaques, 18th/19th century, each carved with the head of an angel flanked by orange and green painted wings, lg. 8 3/4, wd. 10 in. Some chipping and losses to the paint/gesso surface, possible paint retouch, yellowing to the lacquering of the finish, one with an age crack down side of face, the other with a few smaller cracks.
