Early Federal Coin Silver Sugar Urn, Philadelphia, c. 1780, David Hall, maker, with tiered lid with urn-form finial off, but present, the rim of body with rectangular pierced gallery, on trumpet foot and square base, beaded rims throughout, ht. 9 5/8 in., approx. 16 troy oz. lid finial broken off cleanly. (finial present, but need reattaching. overall minor age wear. likely lacquered, with tarnish below. not engraved. mark good.
