George III Silver Epergne Frame, Birmingham, 1816, Matthew Boulton, maker, round, with applied fruiting grapevine rim, raised on four reeded, shell-topped legs with paw feet, with medial support set with four acanthus and reeded serpentine arms with round beaded bowl frames, ht. 10 1/2, center dia. 7, arm dia. 3 1/8 in., (lacking bowls), approx. 81 troy oz. lacking glasses. finial to center of base, and one flatleaf decoration off, but present. one leaf missing. a few breaks, some with solder repairs, to grapevine rim trim. one foot compressed, and with seam breaks. marks good.
