Arthur David McCormick (British, 1860-1943) The Visitor / Lacy Middleton and Lord Nelson Signed "A. D. McCormick" l.r., identified on a label from H. & P. De Casseres, London, on the backing. Oil on canvas, 23 7/8 x 19 in. (60.8 x 48.0 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, craquelure. There is an old repair with retouch, Y-shaped, center top, with the stem and each branch of the Y measuring approximately 3 inches. Minor retouch to fill craquelure.
