French Coromandel and Brass Tea Caddy, late 19th century, the rectangular case with scrolled brass border to lid enclosing "The," front panel with straight line borders, moire-lined interior fitted with two Paris porcelain bottles, the stoppers and shoulders enamel decorated with flower sprigs, bottle ht. 5 1/4, box 8 x 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 in. bottles regilded at necks, and with some gilt wear. box with finish wear, brass inlay lifting slightly in a few places, surface scratching, and tape residue. likely polyurethaned/refinished.
