Meissen Porcelain Enamel Decorated "Swan Service" Cup and Saucer, late 19th century, after the design by J. J. Kandler and J.F. Eberlein, molded in low relief with a pair of swimming swans, and with a crane in flight, cup ht. 3 1/2, saucer dia. 5 5/8 in. saucer with rim restorations approx 1/3rd of the circumference, and with a small rim chip in the restored area. minor wear to applied enamels of saucer from stacking of cup. Cup with very minor enamel and gilt rubbing.
