19th century oil on canvas painting after "Self-Portrait with Isabella Brant"-1609-1610 by Peter Paul Rubens (Flemish 1577-1640) Original painting currently housed in the Alte Pinakothek in Munich, Germany. Painting depicting a double portrait of a Ruben's first wife, Isabella Brant wearing a stylish hat with ribboned trim above a powdered face. Brant wearing a large white lace ruff on neck above with jacket, hands and wrists with cabochon accented jewelry. Rubens depicted with hat and lace collar sitting with legs cross and resting his hand underneath his companion's. Unsigned. Framed 58.75" x 40.25". Unframed 50.75" x 34.75".
