Five-Piece Silver Tea and Coffee Service with Silver Plate Tray, possibly Asian or Middle Eastern, mid-20th century, marked "Old Friend Sterling," comprising teapot, coffeepot, creamer, covered sugar, and open sugar, ovoid, decorated with engraved stylized foliate cutcard work to bodies, the domed lids with ball finials, anthemion engraved rims, coffeepot ht. 10 1/4, approx. 97 troy oz., with a silver plate tea tray with matching anthemion rim, unmarked, lg. to handles 28 3/4 in. coffeepot lacking lid hinge pin, so lid detaches. minor usage wear. not monogrammed. rim detaching from tray at one end. some edge rosing.
