Gorham Sterling Hot Water Pot, c. 1866, tapered cylindrical, domed lid with pineapple finial and two medallion accents at hinge, short spout, angular handle, body engraved at rim and base with lambrequin enclosing foliate scrollwork, dated January 1st 1866 to one side, and initials to other, ht. 9 1/4 in., approx. 7 troy oz. a few light pinpoints and dings to lower portion of body, wear to engraving from cleaning. monogrammed JC & SAB
