Pair of Chenets and Fireplace Tools, each chenet with pinecone and flaming urn finials over a pediment with openwork balusters terminated by flowerheads and decorated with garland swags, on capital-form front legs, ht. 10 1/2, wd. 12 1/2 in.; group of tools with finials of scrolling foliage, comprising a poker, tongs, and shovel with stand, stand ht. 27 1/2 in. Provenance: From a Martha's Vineyard, Edgartown, MA Historical Home Chenets with spots of verdigris patina, one with missing side garland.
