Pair of Famille Verte Decorated Porcelain Vases, China, 19th century, slightly tapering square forms polychrome enamel decorated with foliage to the neck, butterflies to the shoulder, and warriors to each side, ht. 23 5/8 in. One vase horizontally restored through just below the shoulder; an older restoration with areas of yellowed spray to each side just above each figure. The same one with a small chip poorly filled and regilded along the top rim.
