Italian Silver-clad Mirror, mid to late 18th century, possibly Bologna, cartouche shaped, the chased and embossed silver mount topped by the Madonna above angel heads, floral swags, and rocaille, the sides with figures of a kneeling monk and bishop saints, set atop a wooden backing, wd. 17 3/4, ht. 13 1/2 in. both wood feet broken, one off, but present, the other loose. small loss to mirror at upper left corner, and smaller spot of loss to upper right corner. minor bends to silver, with tarnish, and loss to a few of the nails holding it to the wood backing.
