William Kent-style Gilt Gesso Marble-top Console Table, with black marble rectangular top, frieze applied with acanthus and husk, with rear tapering circular section legs and front winged beast form monopodia, ht. 38 1/2, wd. 38, dp. 18 in. some chipping and losses to gilt gesso surface throughout including edge of frieze, wear to noses to the beast's faces, loss to a rosette at frieze and to tip of acanthus at frieze, some areas of gold paint touch ups, marble top likely later and with some edge chipping
