Provenance: Nord and Ruth (Smith) Bowlen, Greenfield, Massachusetts; by family descent to a private collection. Surface grime with some small spots or accretions l.c. Scattered subtle spotting (like tiny rust spots) in areas where there is no oil paint covering the primed canvas in the lower quarter of the composition. Very minor canvas deformation u.l. corner.
