Judith Brown (American, 1932-1992) Untitled [Female Dancer] Monogrammed "JB" in ink on the reverse. Painted and welded steel, 17 x 8 x 4 in. (43.2 x 20.3 x 10.2 cm), set within a wood laminate plinth. Condition: Surface dust. N.B. We wish to thank Peter Stettenheim, the artist's brother, for his assistance with cataloguing the lot. A copy of the exhibition catalogue for Judith Brown , held at The Penson Gallery, New York, March 8 to 29, 1988, and biographical material accompany the lot.
