Three Washington at Tomb Transfer-decorated Staffordshire Pottery Items, Enoch Wood and Sons, Burslem, 1819-46, a cream jug and tea bowl and saucer each depicting the figure of Washington standing beside a tomb with the name "WASHINGTON" in an oval cartouche, holding a scroll in one hand, the creamer and saucer with impressed maker's mark, (glaze wear on rims and handle edges), ht. 1 1/4-6 in. The saucer has a yellowed varnish on the base but does not appear to have other repairs.
