Meissen Porcelain Figural Seven-light Candelabra, Dresden, 19th century, with floriform candlecups and drip pans on stems adorned with grapes and grape leaves, over columnar standard with further grapes and leaves, surrounded by three inebriated male bacchants, one a young faun and one riding a donkey, on rocky free-form base, with first quality crossed swords mark, approx. ht. 29 1/2 in. Candlecups and stems with old repaired breaks to all candle stems, with two stems rebroken but present. Numerous, breaks, repairs, and inpainting to candlecups, drip pans, and stems. Grapes and grape leaves on standard with numerous breaks, repairs, and inpainting. Repairs to donkey's tail, right front leg (with foot missing), and left ear. Scattered small chips, loss, and enamel flakes.
