Two Framed English Needlework Samplers, one stitched with silk threads on a linen ground, "MARY GLAS/WELL HER WORK," stitched with an assortment of figures, trees, and flowers, and a pious verse, 17 1/2 x 17 1/2; the other stitched with wool yarns on a linen ground, dated "1782," stitched with alphabets, figures, flowers, trees, crowns, birds, and hearts, (stitch losses, stains, toning), 15 1/2 x 15 in.
