Antoine Vollon (American, 1833-1900) Still Life with Flowers, Porcelain, and a Folded Fan Signed "A. Vollon" l.l., identified on a presentation plaque. Oil on panel, 14 1/2 x 18 1/8 in. (37.0 x 46.0 cm), framed. Condition: Possible old retouch, craquelure with areas of shrinking, varnish inconsistencies, surface grime. Panel stamped with an anchor and caduceus on the reverse, and with a partial label "...Reinh.../...Paintings.../...Milwaukee Street..." also on the reverse. Alligatoring; fine craquelure throughout; no additional condition issues to report.
